The scientist looked back at his lead box with the thick windows, and gasped. His radioactive substance, that new compound that had been formed had such a short lifespan! It was unstable, it was unnatural, and he didn't know how long it'd last. But know he knew. It was barely 6.712 seconds.
He tried to add an extra electron to the whole compound, forcing it into the stable octet structure. Obviously, it couldn't stick. But it had gained enough kinetic energy that when it dislodged itself from the stable structure, it had disintegrated and self-destructed.
And the whole compound was in disarray. The scientist looked on sadly. All that he'd been working for, working towards had come to naught. He was back to square one. But then he learnt an important lesson on never to play around with radioactive materials, for the extended hours he'd been working with them had caused a deep burning sensation in him that no amount of painkillers could alleviate.

there's a reason why. i'm. curt. and. cynical. it's cos of people like you. and so the vicious cycle continues, with stupid himbotic people like u not really making things much better.
