Ok, this is hilarious.
1. I actually watched soccer for more than 5 minutes last night. I don't know why I was hypnotically glued to the screen, but I was. Some Turkish-European crap. Lucky me! I saw one of the funniest things to ever happen on the pitch in my measly 300 seconds! Which leads me on to point 2.
2. David Beckham, vaunted footballer, touted to be the best professional
soccer-er (mu.ihong lifts glasses up a notch) slipped while making a penalty kick. Instead of the ball going straight into the goal, it flew almost straight up in an undefined gradient of more than 85 degrees, haha. Firstly, seeing him slip was so funny. Secondly, in all my years of being an RI boy, I have never seen such a terrible penalty goal kick, not even from the non-players.

Ok, short rowdy-rah-rah.
On a separate note, my new hero from now on till i find a better one is Leonardo da Vinci. He's Italian, isn't he? Major plus point. And he's known to be the world's smartest man right? Moreover, he was good in
both the Sciences and the Arts. (Mind you, he was
nota
mugger) He invented many things and painted lots of stuff. More about him later.
Truly a remarkable feat.
