basically, yesterday, when everyone had madly woken before the sun had risen and decided to reach school by 7am just so they could be part of a "tribute", i was still tossing and turning around in my bed, having a serious nightmare of getting 8 points. what scared me wasn't the number, but the assorted variety of results i'd gotten. i hate getting slips with all sorts of grades, looks damn ugly. i'd rather everything be standardized. all the subjects weren't clear, but i got 4 A1s, 2 A2s, a 3, a 4 and a 5. and the 5 was HCL !!! interesting that it wasn't full lit. perhaps subconsciously, getting into the humanities program isn't as much a goal to me as getting out of Chinese class.

oh well, in any case, i woke up at noon and reached school at around 1.30. everyone was milling around in the canteen with their own stories to tell, and it was all good. we went in at around 2+ and we were told of our results and all. very good, ri did rather well this year, after all that constant psycho-ing by the teachers that we suck and all. omg, the english standards, for one, are really something to be proud of. 86%! oh well.

anyway, full lit results were amazing for express too. only 3 people didn't get 1s. 1 was an A2, and the other two were B3s, which makes our distinction rate around 90%! too bad supposedly the GEP screwed up their lit. hah, and all those rumours about 15 people getting B3 for full lit, i guess that must have stemmed from GEP then.

i was so scared i didn't even dare to look at my slip, and i told yis.ian not to look at it when i received it. my eyes were averted, yet azh.ar was congratulating me and shaking my hand on rather good results, and i was thinking, wth? but anyway, i finally looked at it, and it was a very nice surprise. very very nice. don't read the following if you didn't do very well and are prone to bouts of jealousy.

i got an A1 for everything besides physics, chemistry and higher chinese. those were A2 subjects.

most people would be devastated cos they didn't get straight 1s. i was just happy that i didn't get any 3s, and that the proportion of my 1s and 2s were in the right ratio, and the right subjects too. and edc met me and he asked me how i did, (now isn't that so weird that my ex-FT doesn't even know my results?) and he was bitching to me about how half lit did badly and all, and how it was so shocking. i just nodded in agreement cos i didn't want to tell him the truth, which would have been rather rude...

so after everyone jumped up and down a bit, (don't think anyone cried i guess), 4e hung out at the canteen abit before making our way to paradiz. amazingly, people left to do other things like watch movies and play pool that only 6 of us were left lanning, but who cares, it was still fun alright. too bad we were separated cos of all the chinese speaking second-tier scholar bengs, and etc etc.

there was a guy called michael sitting next to me. that somehow intrigued me alot. his friends were calling him and i had to resist the urge to turn around and look at them. somehow, i find all michaels very interesting, if i do say so myself. always this fascination to know more about them. omg i'm a narcissistic name freak!

so anyway, had dinner with jiaw.ei as jony.ap and de.rek left soon after we came to pool (we're all the Lanners), then we walked to the mrt; he walked on down to somerset to meet his OG, whilst i took the mrt down to orchard to meet ha.dri, mark, debz and their classmate from 4h, dunno his name. lots of exchanges of results, and i was surprised to find out that acjc has humans scholars as well, everyday you learn something new i guess.

survivor was good! ding dong, the naked fat hairy gay bitch is dead! haha, but he's damn funny all the same, little gay dance before leaving and all.

anyway, today was quite fun too. went to school, got my humans form (yay). thanks to claud, vai.sh and apa.rna for telling me i'd gotten the wrong form. shit, almost got cheated of 250 bucks! :) no moe pre-U science craps for me.

went to the ghim moh macs, and my class and OG were both there (how embarassing), was forced to straddle social commitments and had to visit both. the worst thing was that they were next to each other. omg. anyway, then zc and wc were there, and since we decided we had nothing to do, so we went to bugis junction cos missy said he needed to get stuff for his slutty sis (that's what he actually calls her), and i ended up splurging 10 whole bucks on some cute stuff, and cool stuff. yay! lol.

then they left to meet the interactors, i felt like an extra amongst them, then went to meet christina and br.itney's new and enlarged clique which i'm slowly being sidelined about, who were walking all over the place. then they went home and i met weic.hen and mel, and we were walking around the art shop etc etc in taka. we met kevin and joe.llouis at kino, yada yada, then they left too, and i went to orchard library to do some reading after a long dry spell of illiteracy, berns came later, we went to crytal jade lamianxiaolongbao thingamajig at taka. had a good chat, got quite crappy deserts, and really hot chilli, but good noodles. yada yada, then came home.

hmm, i realise this entry has been very Paris-ish in nature. i must break that habit. after all, Paris' whole existence is just about being seen and being talked about. heh.

i SO have no mood for school on monday. the new template sort of symbolises a back to the past thing that i put up after prelims before Os. was really good, nice zesty colours. hope to relive that again. finally, no more shit colours (in ca.my's words)!!
