haha. what an embarrassing barrage of events. but it's all over now and things are the same as before the past 2 weeks, or better i suppose. =) you gotta move on man. anyway. that isn't really a huge thing. faced much bigger setbacks in life. especially the past half year. so, no biggie there. of course, the march thing was a minor victory but besides that... oh well. hey c'mon i still have 1.5 more years. as yon.ghui said. change perspective? i suppose so. but that's bloody hard. whatever la. we'll see.

i love iago. i think that guy's damn cool. iagoroxmysox!! my favourite shakesperean character used to be cassius, but now it's iago. he's my hero. haha. he formulates plans on the way rather than (un-humanly) comes up with one immediately on the spot. his cynical views about love and courtship, of which you call love a scion. are so true - i agree with him to a large extent (And thus i get my level5.A1grade). he's bitchy but condescendingly funny. he's successfully subtle and sneaky. and his sexual ambiguity makes him all the more such an enigmatic character (especially since he's married) cassius was just whinybitch. he was good, but nowhere near the shenness of iago.

ok that was weird.

anyway, you rock. no matter what you say. in time i'll get over the whole thing. but you are really one of the coolest people i've ever known.

i really disagree with what bloom said though. that it's not all about the appearance and there are other factors. imagine, for example. you are in a strange new environment. you see lots of trees and vines and everything with a huge spread of colours. lots of delicious looking fruit. (and helentan suddenly chimes in about opportunity costs and affirms my crap about a valid free lunch in a forest) you know nothing about them. for they are all never seen before hybrids. are you gonna pick the one with the bright colours and looks fleshy and juicy and yummy? or are you gonna pick the plain dull one which looks terrible and dry and crummy from the outside (cos it doesn't have the chance to go for SPA)? i'm pretty much inclined to believe that when you know nothing about your choices, you pick the one that looks best - without much regard for what's within.

i guess what i got out of the whole experience is that. i've grown stronger? not in that sense. but it was rather hard to do so after years of abstinence. only to face the same thing again. haha. to tell the truth, i'm not devastated because at the back of the mind i knew it was rather likely and with the added warnings all over the place before the climax. rather, it has served to strengthen my resolve and mind over certain issues which i've always held dear to my heart and stood firm with. many people disagreed, especially girls for some reason (maybe because it criticized their lack of going beyond certain physical faculties). but i still believe in it.

but then again, you have to remember that i'm a boy. and a boy's outlook on life is world's apart from a girl's. ok, need to ask more guys about this.
